OK ladies and gentlemen,
I must confess, I have had a Big Green Egg for 8 years and have done ribs on it until I bought an electric smoker for making sausage. I tried ribs on that and because of the size been making them on the electric smoker for the last year and a half. I recently had a buddy of mine trade me my LBGE for his XLBGE, straight out swap he said he should not have gotten the XL since it is just him and his wife. I am certainly not complaining, I get a larger newer one for the mine!
So, getting to the point I am getting to the point! I am going to make ribs again on my BGE but I do not remember if I put the thicker section down or up on the vertical rib rack. or perhaps does it make a difference? Hoping to hear all the input!

I don't think it matters much. I would be tempted to flip them half way through, but prolly not needed. I do mine bone down flat usually unless cooking a mess of them. Good luck sir.
