Hello everyone! I lurked here for a week then took the plunge. I've had my LBGE for a week and have done ribs, reverse sear steaks and today I cooked a spatchcock chicken over direct heat on a diy raised grid. Everything has been delicious! I'm hooked.

Welcome! I've been reading the forums for a couple of weeks, and I took delivery on my first ever XL BGE last weekend. To say I'm captivated by my new egg would be a gross understatement because in the words of a colleague, put something on it, close the lid, and a few hours later you'll get something magical. My inaugural smoke yielded the best chicken I've ever tasted and today I'm smoking a 5 1/2 lb Boston butt using the low and slow method.
Enough of my chatter... Here's what everyone is here for!

Welcome and enjoy the madnesses. It won't take long and you'll realize the gasser on the right will come in real handy for storing all your eggsessories...LBGE (still waitin' for my free T-Shirt), DIgiQ DX2 (In Blue, cause it's the fastest), Heavy Duty Kick Ash Basket, Mc Farland, WI.
If it wasn't for my BGE I'd have no use for my backyard...
