I have a problem with stuff coming out of my egg when it gets hot. It has chipped some of the ceramic off.

    Nope.  If ceramic is coming off get it replaced.  It's normal to sweat and bleed crap but shed enamel, nope.

    I don't think warranty will cover it. It is about 10 years old

    This. Normal to sweat some grease after a while, but if ceramic is coming off you have just won yourself a new base and a new flower pot, assuming you have the warranty.

    Two words. Lifetime warranty. Assuming you either registered your egg or have your original receipt

    I have lots of problems, but not this one. Lots of problems...
    LBGE (still waitin' for my free T-Shirt), DIgiQ DX2 (In Blue, cause it's the fastest), Heavy Duty Kick Ash Basket, Mc Farland, WI. :glasses:  B)
    If it wasn't for my BGE I'd have no use for my backyard...

    I have problems also but no one can help! You should contact the Mothership and see what they say as they are the best source for this problem.

    I took a pic of my receipt and backed it up in multiple places. You'll never lose it that way.  Hell, email it to yourself!
