Smoke Leaking From Egg

As the title says I did some pulled pork this weekend I noticed that when the Party Q fan was going that some smoke was leaking out of the egg from the lid anything reason for this maybe a replacement gasket is needed?

Did it smoke the whole cook? I use a Party Q also, and the smoke eventually goes away just after hitting target temp.

    It's dome alignment.

I sometimes see a little smoke leakage  from the gasket when I use my Flame Boss. It's the air being forced in.

It doesn't leak when I'm not using the Flame Boss. I could make myself crazy trying to get the dome aligned perfectly, but I choose not to as long as it doesn't leak in normal use.

I only noticed it when the fan was running on the party q I'll keep an eye on it when using it normally.

Yes, this exact situation happen(s) to me when I use a temp controller. 100% completely normal, air is being forced into your egg, and since the egg is not 100% airtight (especially when using the adaptor to connect the controller to the egg) your gonna get air seepage.

I spent a stupid amount of time chasing dome alignment this Spring. Bought a new gasket from @RRP and those days are over for me. So what if it has an underbite, it's sealed tighter than a frog's butt.
