Anniversary dinner

The fiancée and I just hit our 1 year mark, no date set but we ain't going anywhere. Decided to replicate the first meal I cooked for her: Dungeness crab with seafood pasta; of course I had to throw some chicken wings on there for good measure. I used the Jamaican Jerk rub from dizzy pig, we really enjoyed that.  I boiled the crab in water and vinegar for 20 and gave it some smoke for about 7 minutes. Happy wife, happy life.

How did the crab turn out? I would love to grill a few blue crabs as an experiment. I see you boiled it first though.......

@gatabites Crab was excellent.  I wanted to go live crab indirect but these bad boys were alive and kickin.  Plus, the natural flavor from Dungeness with vinegar brings out a sweetness to the crabs.  Next time I want to stick a water pan under near and go indirect.

I would have sworn I had responded to this earlier. Just a beautiful dish. And if it is half as good as it looks.....you will have much joy. I wish the full (and not half) for you....as I am certain this does not disappoint.
