Burek on the egg

My lovely gf who is originally from Hungary picked this Serbian Burek out when we were at a Bosnian store the other day. It is originally a Turkish pastry, but the Turks invading the Balkans made it a staple among Serbs eventually.

It's basically phyllo dough, and farmer cheese, I sweetened with lemon curd. There is a meat version,  and an apple pie version as well.

@anton traditionally this is a Turkish dish that was sort of implemented into the Bosnian culture and it is and has been a Bosnian dish. Hence why you picked it up at a Bosnian store and not a Serbian one.

Traditionally it is called a Pita, that is its general name. When you add cheese it is a "Sirnica" the meat pita is a "burek", there is a patato version called "krompirusa" and a spinach version called "zeljanica"

Looks good and you should try the others
