Don't get why this got buried. I can't wait to use this WITH my egg. I'm starting to think there might be a moron at the helm of the buffalo button.

yuppers...WITH is the key word. Before I bought my sous vide unit I used what I called the poor man method of using hot tap water and a small tightly sealed cooler. That method would bring the internal temperature of my steaks, roasts, prime rib up and then finish on my eggs. Wonder if the buffalo used to kill my threads about "hot tap water" and "coolers"?

OTOH I wonder if any mention of Amazon is the trigger tripper - so I guess we will see tonight!

Like others have said before today I don't use either enhanced feature, much less cared if it had it. Same reason I'm still quite happy with my stupid BBQ Guru.

Not yet!!! Cool! This really was meant to be a PSA for eggers considering an inexpensive entry into having a sous vide unit in their toy box! Nothing against BGE just another way to enjoy your food since you can honesty "dial in" the internal food temperature YOU want!

The BGE and a decent sous vide unit go together like a good suit and a nice tie. Complimentary cooking at its finest.
