Threw on some 80-20 burgers on the cast iron half moon griddle. Seared up quite nicely. A little cheese and there you have it. Sides on the way.

Burgers look awesome. I've been in the fence about buying the half moon griddle, is it worth it?

I love my half moon griddle. Sad to say I have yet to grille burgers on it, but you have inspired me. This weekend I'm going to smash things up a bit.

I did the exact same last night. 80/20, I did smash burgers. they were truly wonderful. No pics, I was hungry.
I take the cast iron grate off and set the half moon on the edge of the platesetter. Dome temp for me was 650. Smash, count to 100 slowly, turn, cheese, count to 100 slowly.

Also, this thing is great for smashing burgers on the CI half moon.
