OT - Blackstone 36

Just noticed that this thread sunk for whatever reason.  @Thatgrimguy even originally placed it in the OT category.  Weird.  Anywho, I am getting ready to move to a new house and will be pulling the trigger on one whether the wife approves or not.  
Any others here in addition to @grege345 that have built theirs into a table/countertop?

Lol.  They are 2 completely separate types of cookers with different purposes, so I personally didn't see anything worth sinking it over.    It was even in the OT category.  But anywho, thx for the original thread!  Between you and @Jeremiah, I am sold.

I want one too.  Want to remove the old built in charcoal grill on my porch and put one out there. We will see.

I was gonna ask the seller that too.  Doesn't look CI to me either, plus I haven't heard of them being CI.

That's disappointing that they sunk that thread.  

I guess they're worried we'd eventually learn how do do a brisket and pizza on the Blackstone.

The blackstone doesn't have a cast iron cook surface. Once it is seasoned it looks like cast iron but it is a rolled steel.

@Dyal_SC That is a mighty brave approach you are taking with the wife there. I did the same when I brought home a 17" recently......she wanted to know why we needed that?....Like I told her, we didn't need a new bed spread.....but we got one didn't we. Good luck.....and I don't think she will be sending the food back.

After you get it seasoned, make a few of these.

I've had a few issues with my SS Blackstone and I will say that their customer service is excellent. Very uncommon these days.

I have a 28" Blackstone and when I got it the regulator was leaking.  I sent them an e-mail and after a couple pictures to prove I actually owned one they sent me a new regulator.  No issues at all since then.  I'm very happy with mine.

Agree with you buddy.  They sent me a regulator quickly when mine was bad.
