I opened this bag this morning and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the chunks they are nice size and will work great for my Low and slow pork butt this weekend. Can't wait to try it. Any other opinions on fogo or suggestions

I have not tried any of mine yet... Kind of have a big surplus at the moment. Should burn through a lot starting in a couple of weeks when it is a bit warmer!

I've been happy with Fogo as well!

I'm going to order a few bags and see how it does for me. An extra $5 a bag over Rockwood.

What's everybody pay for this? local place sells the 17lb bag for $13.25/bag.

Is it the red bag? If so its not quite as good as the beige bags which they call their super premium but your price is still really good for the red bags. I would recommend getting some for sure. Where are you located? The beige 17lb bags here are $20.NitsujNella said:What's everybody pay for this? local place sells the 17lb bag for $13.25/bag. -
Yeah, it's the red bag. I haven't seen the beige bags around. The red bag still burns real well! I'm in SC...place has been carrying it for a while now. They used to carry another brand but i can't remember what it was.Lit said:

Some great stuff. Burns great and lights fast. You will have big chunks left over on the next cook.
