8lb Bone-in Prime Rib Roast which is best method for XL BGE cook

Morning all... planning to cook an 8lb bone in rib roast I got on sale for $4.77 lb the other day.  Was looking around the forum and also hit "Naked Whiz" site that hasn't steered me wrong for my other cooks, but wanted to get you all's opinion on the best way to cook it up, leaning towards an indirect cook, smoke chunks or no???... I plan on seasoning it today and refrigerator until tomorrow.  Any info is appreciated.

What I have done in the past is cook indirect, dome temp 350/375, no sear I just run it till internal hits about 130 internal. Pull and tent rest until internal gets to 140/145. Rub simple salt and pepper.

The last rib roast I cooked, I used the Mad Max recipe from Naked Whiz. It turned out excellent. I'm cooking one tomorrow the same way.

Reverse sear here. 250 - 300 indirect.  Then let rest until the IT has peaked and begins to fall.  20 mins or so.   You pick the IT.  I like 128 for my family.   Then back on direct and it doesn't have to be a raging fire either.  In fact, better if not because that roast has a lot of fat and will turn into a flaming meteor in no time.
