2 tier rack

Anyone ever use one of these on a large egg.

    Works VERY well in the large Big Green Egg. If you have the short 2" firering it even allows you to use the platesetter and do indirect on both levels. With the standard 4-inch firering the swing rack is too tall for the BGE lid to close.
    I have both the large BGE and the Bubba Keg, and both firerings for the BGE and use the cooking grids between both kamados interchangeably. see less

    No it will not, this grate is roughly the same size as the entry level Green Egg.

    Note: If I am understanding correctly I think it would work direct, but with the plate setter and the standard fire ring the lid won't close.  You need the 2" fire ring.  I'm not sure if they still sell the 2 inch fire ring though.
