Love this idea - wood fired and rather affordable.

Another portable wood fired pizza oven that has been on the market for a few years now is the uuni- http://uuni.net/

Well there goes 2 years of planning something similar.

I would be in on that. But would like to know price and would like to have the last two years of my late night buzzed up life back.

Contribution with no guarantee that it will get off the ground. And once the money is contributed that's it.  That's a tough sell considering other portable units exist at a lower cost. The portability isn't a huge thing for me. I'd prefer a brick & mortar traditional oven build at my home. But, it is a cool little cooker.

Same site the "nugget" ice maker is coming from but it's being built by a subsidiary of GE. I'll let you know in June how that one turns out.

Interesting. The wood burner looks like nothing more than a gravity feed rocket stove. Supposedly you can make such a burner from tin cans and some perlite. Wouldn't have thought a rocket stove would get hot enough for a WFO. Sure would go through a lot of kindling to get an oven up to temp and keep it there.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
