Is there a number or email address at "The Mothership" that I will either be able to talk to a person or at the least get a response? I am not exactly thrilled with the customer service I have been receiving from my dealer. Obviously I can't prove they are stringing me along but it sure does "feel" like it.

    What is the issue? Sometimes there are actually things that get back ordered, on us anyway. We are handled through a distributor though, I assume your guy is the same.

    While back my dealer got me a warranty fire ring. I never opened it, just slid it under my bench. Finally got,around to cleaning the Egg out and decided to use it. Opened the box and it was in 4 pieces. Emailed them a picture about 6 weeks ago. Was told it was ordered. Also was told that the distributor wanted my busted new one back...which sounded kind of odd to me. Was going by the dealer on Monday, figured I would drop it off. Manager of the place called the other store, which is where all the shipments arrive. Was told I would have it Thursday.  Wasn't out of there 5 minutes and received this

    oops, purchasing looked and they ordered the replacement. it was approved 
    and normally they assign them to the trasnfers.
    fire ring wont be here thursday. 
    as soon as i see it i will let you know. 
    if it is affecting using the grill let me know and you can use the 
    one you brought in until the replacement arrives. 
    I am pretty sure that despite being told it was "handled" back then they didn't order til they seen that the box wasn't trashed, another words I didn't drop it. 
    Dan told me the name of the distributor but I don't remember it. I just want to find out if the ring has ever been ordered from Egg themselves or...

    I had a HORRIBLE experience trying to get my warranty covered. It took just over a year to get my replacement parts from the time I first contacted my dealer about it. The guys who I bought my Egg from quit selling Green Eggs and now only sell KJ.

    Attempt #2, may need to reset my "smart phone"...thing hasdeveloped a mind of its own lol.....
    This dealer has treated me right....up to now. One of my head problems is I suffer from persecuatory ideation......I often think people are f...ing with me. When I got his email yesterday I was getting out of my truck at Costco, no more than a mile away. My first reaction was to haul ass back there and confront him....tell him I don't appreciate getting f..ked with...but if get the least bit stressed I tend to black out....and things tend to get pretty ugly pretty quick...so I decided to just let it go. 
    There is another dealer a mile from this place. My XL was purchased from a now closed store 1300 miles away.....I just have been dealing with this shop....perhaps it is time to visit the other dealer and have a chat with them? I have dealt with this place in the past and was treated very well....

    Just spoke to Duane. He had me send him a picture and details of what is going on. He told me that he will contact AES, the distributor for the North West to see when it was ordered. I also sent anot email to the dealer...explaining how it feels like I am getting jerked around.

    Please understand your dealer is not buying from Big Green Egg. They buy from a distributor..
    Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now).
