Clinch studs and Kep nuts

I bought a pair of used composite Egg mates, but I need the Clibch studs and Kep nuts to secure it to the lower band. Are these something I can get at Lowe's?  Or better yet, anyone have extras they could sell?

Fastenal has them. Or a dealer.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Your dealer should have tons of them. Is your egg older? The newer ones have the hardware already installed.

Just got it a little over a month ago.  Each side just has one, so I need a second one to secure the mates.

Should have been installed. It's a bit of a pita after the fact. You need to take the bands off. Did you assemble? Sorry to hear this.

No.  I bought mine from Litehouse Pools and they delivered and installed it at no charge.

I'm sure they have some at the store. I would point this out to them not as a means to get something, but at least so they can prevent it in the future. The instructions call for the hardware to be installed, for this precise reason. They didn't used to send the studs etc. in the original pkg. now they do so every egg should be prepped for whatever setup you wish as the end user.

lossen the band bolts with the lid closed and lift the lid off. Then remove the band and install the studs and cap nuts. Then place the bands back on the egg, being careful to line the handle up in the center (hole in ceramics), and then place the lid back on the egg and re-tighten. Good luck.

Fortunately, Litehouse is right behind my house.  Maybe I'll walk over tomorrow and see if they have the pieces.  Can't hurt to ask!
