I saw Dizzy Pig's IPA limited edition rub. Curious to know if folks have tried it and whether it is any good. Does anyone know whether any one else makes a similar product?

it's good, I have a habit of shaking whatever rub container is closest on omelets in lieu of salt/pepper & one morning as i was eating I had the distinct feeling that i was drinking a beer for a second, the hops really come through

Perhaps a good combo with another rub to make beer can chicken.

I've used it on pork chops. I really liked it. Washed it down with a Seirra Nevada "Beer Camp 2016" IPA. I really liked it too.
For the record the IPA rub doesn't taste like beer. It tastes like a hoppy beer. Like @Zippylip states, the hops really come out.___________________________________

Just had a nice bit of duck using IPA.
I liked it.
I've used it several times before. It was somewhat hot, but the hop flavor was not strong.
With this cook, there was juice and fat in the pan after carving. The flavor of that was remarkable, and I brushed the pieces w. it.
I guess the hop flavor was absorbed into the fat. Maybe changed by the high heat direct cooking. Can't quite describe it. Both floral and spicey??

It's pretty solid on yardbird

If you like the "IPA" hops flavor, you can go to your local home brew store and buy hops. Add them to your rub, or use directly on your food. If you like a more aromatic flavor, season near the end of the cook - it's like "dry hopping" where you get aroma. You can do both. There are analogies in the brewing world. The highly cooked hops give you the alpha acids, but very little IPA aroma.

+1 for using it on wings. I bought some of the IPA and the Ghost when they first came out. Tried them side by side on wings and was surprised how much everyone like the IPA.
-
I've used it on ribs and chicken. They both came out great.

Griffin, Citra and Ahtanum hops. Really like it on chicken and am looking forward to trying it on pork.
