Woo rings: large woo (3-leg) or PSWOO2?

Hi I just got my new large BGE over a week ago and have been reading recipes that say to use a raised grate with direct cooking. Seems like Woo rings are a popular choice. Between the two what should I get? large woo (3-leg) or PSWOO2?
What would be the most useful and versatile ring? I do own the Conveggtor.

I just received my order of the PSWOO2 combo with the extender and sliding D grid. I love it! I also bought the spider and wok to go with. I would recommend the PSWoo since you already have the platesetter. It's almost game changing in what it provides. If you have the budget, get the extender and grid too. It's a very well made device.

Changed my order to the PSWOO2 with the extender and grid too. Wicked pumped. This will help me out with multi-level smokes.

Good call to go with the PSWoo2 as above since you have the platesetter.  You have definitely landed in a great place with the after-market toys.
BTW-welcome aboard and enjoy the journey.

Hey thanks. I can't get over the versatility of these grills. Can you put D sharped grates and stones on the PSWoo2 to allow for searing and indirect cooking all in the same session?

@Powak -  don't know the shape of your stones but I would give Tom at CGS a call.  They have another accessory (designed for the pswoo2) that enables use of stones other than the platesetter but Ithat's the extent of my knowledge.

@Powak if you order the spider, you can use that for either a stone for indirect, or too to hold aI cast iron gate for searing.

For example, for a reverse sear, spider with grate, pswoo with plate setter and grid all in. Roast the steak till close to done temp, pull off grill to rest. Then pull the pswoo with plate setter and grid off abd set on ground. Leave apider with CI grid. Crank to 11, or 550°, sear steak. Put back in the rest of the parts and shut down egg.

Love my PSWoo2 w/extender. The woo hardly ever comes out of the egg.

I'm not seeing a "pswoo2" on their site, seems CGS is calling it the Pswoo ring, can anyone confirm? I see they offer two models also, one for the stainless grate and one for a CI grate.

Here is the PSWoo2.  I bought the CI since I have the cast iron grate. The CI works with both the standard grate and cast iron grates.

The PSWOO2s design has changed a hair over this summer. When I bought mine in March the bottom ring was one round piece of steel. Now I noticed it has cutouts in it and the half moons that hold the plate setter are what hold the bottom ring together now. I'm wondering what this design change does.
