Im Skeeeered. I haven't had it done yet. My doctor made a comment about it and I told him if he wanted to stay healthy he should refrain from using the C word around me.

Your pretty well looped throughout the entire procedure. You wont feel it or remember it. Catch cancer early if you can. Especially if it has a history in your family. I'm dealing with kidney cancer right now. It sucks...

Did mine at 53. In hindsight, the worst part was the fretting before hand and the lack of food. And, SHMBO would not let me drink the evening after the morning procedure.

Stay close, light a candle that you like and enjoy the ride. You'll lose about 5-7 pounds.

I won't stress out over the next one.

If it is of any consequence....the procedure itself is no big deal. The prep work blows!.....and that is no joke.

That stuff tastes awful.  For reasons you don't really want to know I take this every morning http://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-162895/linzess-oral/details , has about the same effect but you don't have to drink a gallon of nasty stuff.  Keeps me out of the hospital.

The prep is not as bad as one thinks it will be. It's not fun, by any stretch, but I recall the hunger more.

as in, drinking heavily before the superbowl.

I have the good fortune of getting both and scoped, doc asked me if I had any questions. I told him I had one request, scope my top in before my bottom didn't want to wake up with **** breath

    And we are under way.

The MoviPrep is not bad tasting at all. I mixed it with clear Gatorade.

I will not live blog the entire even in complete detail.

I'm 44 and just had my 5th.  I have a strong family history and have been good to go so far.   The prep gets easier and they're making better stuff now than 20years ago.  The propofol makes it all worth it.   I could be addicted to that stuff in no time.

I've ignored the suggestions so far (I'm 57) but my last girlfriend got "perf'd" and almost died, that was not a fun time.

All done and well done. Small polyp was removed and will be examined but Dr is not worried.

BTW, Dr's name was Dr Ho. Was all i could do not to call him Dr. A$$ Ho.

The whole experience was super easy. The MoviPrep solution was not hard to drink, mixed with a flavored gatorade. My throne time was tolerable.
I was watching football by 9.

Of course, I was knocked out for the exam so not a problem there.

They say no booze tonight but Cubs/Giants are on so...

Anyway, if any of you are hesitant to do this, please reconsider.

The power of knowing nothing is wrong is pretty cool!
