SRF order came in. kurobuta ribs for lunch

Was planning on these going on the stick burner this weekend but it's supposed to rain...so since these are small and I work from home, I figured I would go ahead and throw them on the egg for myself (no sharing with the wife). Rubbed down with half mustard, half pickle juice. Seasoned half with Rod Grey (pellet envy BBQ pit masters grand champ) zero to hero rub.The other half with honey hog. Doing a taste test. Running over cherry wood at the temp she sets in at on my first choice vent settings.

I haven't tried Rod's "zero to hero" yet, definitely interested in your take on it!

It's pretty great.  Especially mixed with his "Most Powerful Stuff"

would normally do squeeze butter, but didn't have any of it.  So I will put normal butter on at the 1 hour mark, and then again when I wrap.  Just gives it a little extra flavor and moisture during the process....Butter is always good!

looks great! Mine seemed really small and they are still frozen. Were yours small?

Yeah they are pretty small. Tasty though. 

Started out at 250 for 2 hours, wrapped for another 1 hour. The temp crept up to 295. I should have left them wrapped for an extra 30 min and they would have been spot on. Verdict is- I enjoy zero to hero rub over honey hog. Next cook will be with two different ribs and come to my final conclusion of what I enjoy.
