Spatchcock chicken question

so I know I will get various answers for cooking these birds direct vs indirect. However I wasn't thinking and filled my lump to probably the bottom of my fire ring. I was going to go direct at 350, but is this too close to the fire? Should I just do indirect? I have a gasket level grate.

I usually go for 375 at gasket level (raised) direct but what's 25 degrees between Eggers?New Albany, Ohio

Agree your good. Raised direct is my preference for spatchbird. I too go a little hotter.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

I'm guessing here, so I may be wrong.
If your grate is at the felt line, there is a lot of space to the dome, so a 350 dome temp is hotter at the grate. If you have no way of elevating your grate, just -
sorry - keep you temp a little lower, but you should be fine
