Palmetto Cheese ABT's

Threw a batch of these up last weekend for the South Carolina / Penn State game.  First time I've used the palmetto cheese for ABT's. Used some Caribeque Jamaican Jerk seasonsing and smoked them with olive wood.  The japs were so big that most of them had 2 lil smokies inside instead of just one.  I prefer them smaller, but they were still really good.  The jerk seasoning / olive wood combo tasted great along with the palmetto cheese.

Thx y'all!  @Jeremiah , thet were a lot better fresh, but I'm glad you liked them.   Had a good time with you and @northGAcock .  Can't wait til the next game.

@Dyal_SC ... baseball?  I don't follow PSU Baseball closely but did see that y'all won 4-2.  Btw...the ABTs looked great.  Good call w/ the Palmetto Cheese.

I've never used anything but cream cheese in ABTs, and I love them, but I've been thinking there must be lots of things better than just cream cheese.

Pimento cheese sounds like a GREAT idea!  I don't know why it never occurred to me.  I'm definitely going to try that next time.

Man those look awesome.  We love that brand of pimento cheese as well.  It seems to have really blown up- I see it everywhere now.

Palmetto is the best.  No question.   I used it with a variation of the ABT but definitely want to try them with a lil smokie inside.  

I especially love it on a hamburger!  I've also done BLfgTP - bacon, lettuce, fried green tomato and pimento sandwiches.  SO good!!!
