First Direct Cook

Bought my Large used and it came with the Plate Setter so thats how I have always used it.  Today rather than fire up the Gas Grill to do Chicken Fajitas I went ahead and used the egg on direct.

Using the Gas Grill I would have been eating these long before I was beginning the cook on the Egg
I have a (4) burner gas so its easy to manage the meats to get done at same time, was worried on egg it would be a giant hot spot.  Wasnt really an issue the edges allowed for less temp than direct center.
However the Taste was worth it- Much Juicier and much more Tender

I should have cooked side by side and done a real taste test.
XLBGE, LBGE, Charbroil Gas Grill, Weber Q200, Old Weber Kettle, Rectec RT-B380, Yeti 65, Yeti Hopper 20, RTIC 20, RTIC 20 Soft Side - Too many drinkware vessels to mention.

    Looks good,  most people cook chicken on a raised grid, less burning and farther away from the fire.  whatever works for you, your cook looks delicious.
