This year was the 7th annual Frozen Fest in northern Minnesota. This year we had eggers from Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, North Dakota, and Florida.

Here is a picture of one of the driveways at the cabins we rented out.

My wife and another egghead made a "snow egg" Friday afternoon.

Lit at night

Our first cook: Hot sausage wontons:

Our 2nd cook: Crab cakes:

We brought the shotski along. A Frozen Fest staple

Our third cook: Buffalo chicken blue cheese sushi topped with Doritos

Our 4th cook: Cuban stuffed pickles

Our final cook was: Raspberry trifle

7th Frozen Fest is officially in the books. I don't need to eat for a week!

Man, good times, good grub V.
    Looks balmy.
FF is not official until the shotski comes out.
One shot penalty for the chic on the right.  Been there. lol

Rehashed some good memories bud.  Like waking hungover from the basement to the sounds of Kari playing dice on the kitchen table.  And Enrico handing me a glass of Sambuca for breakfast after first night with the shotski. hahaha

Need to get back up there one of these years.  Nice post.

@Focker Thanks! Good memories. It would be fun to get everyone back together again.

@Little Steven Haha I can see how you might think that's Adam. It's Adams buddy Brian. I'm pretty sure he's almost on his knees to take the shot with everyone else

That has got to be one of the most outstanding Fests.
Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd.

@Mickey For being held during the middle of winter here in Minnesota the fest sees many repeat eggers. We had a Florida egger this year that saw snow fall for her first time. She was so happy. Lots of good eggers that have made there way through the fest over the years

We had a blast at the Frozen Fest a couple years ago but it was COLD.
I believe it was the coldest Fest to date. I don't remember any outside sledding or much playing around in the snow. I think the High Temp was ZERO, mid day, with the sun shinning...
Mickey...I wil let you side this time, but I'm NOT a TEXAN...lol
I was born in the Great White North and Minnesota will always be my home.

Wife owes me a travel "Hall Pass". I might use it next year and head back to MN.

@Brisket_Fanatic Thanks! The blonde in the picture is Rhonda from Florida. She is NibbleMeThis sister. Great lady. I think Adam is still working on Faith

LOL, Adam has his work cut out for him there. Faith's idea of cold is 80°!! And that white stuff on the ground better be sand!! =)

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I believe Adam has even changed the date around for the fest with her and work. Still no dice

@Clay Q Brian talked about your Reubens in honor of you during the fest. I think we were still weary about doing our own dishes and not being threatened to be stabbed with a kitchen knife! =);) You two were missed!!!
