Hey Matt, can't remember if you commented before about the handles on your wok.  If you were starting from scratch, would you go for he wooden handles or the double bail-type handles that are more common? Why?
@Jeepster47 I've noted before, but it has been a while.

Long before the Egg and me on this forum, my Mom gave me the wok I use. I had only used it on the stove at that point.   It was already nicely seasoned, so I decided to use what I had first before getting something newer.  Kinda the way I am instead of going all crazy and buying stuff on a whim.

So, I just wrap the handles with foil every now and again and keep on woking.  Guess when it starts to become fragile and cannot go, I'll get a double bail type handle wok from the wok shop.  Hopefully I never have to replace my current wok though.  I love cooking in it since my late Mom gave it to me.

    That I understand.

I have a shotgun that my father bought right after I was born.  As a kid, I can remember walking the fields with him and my grandfather and that gun.  I've carried it afield with my son and my grandson.  There are better shooting shotguns in the closet, but not a single one with better memories.

    Thanks for the response.
