Chicken Wings

Wings cooked at 375, indirect.
First batch were hit with Plowboys Yard Bird
The second batch were coated with pork rinds. I ground down a bag of pork rinds in the vitamix until it was a fine powder. Then through wings in a bag and shook it up until they were coated.
The grease from the pork rinds deep fried the chicken wing!!! These were outstanding once tossed with Franks Hot Sauce!

Huh... never would have thought of pork rind breading. I'll bet that was pretty good. The pictures look fantastic. I have a batch smoking right now with a little Habanero Death Dust and maple for smoke. We'll see how those turn out in a bit.

One thing I forgot to mention......
I also add my favourite BBQ seasoning to the pork rind bag to coat them with some flavour as well -
Doesn't the grease from inside the wings fry them too?
Look great. -
The skin gets crazy crispy and the coating gets really crunchy!!!

@bosco0633 Both batches of wings look amazing. I see you cooked indirect at 375. Roughly, how long did you cook them? Just got an egg recently and dying to try your pork rinds recipe.

The wings look amazing. I still haven't done wings as I am the only one in the house that likes wings. But I'm going to do some one day soon and if they don't like them they don't have to eat them.Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.
