Snake River Farm Prime Rib

Decided to cook a prime rib for Valentines dinner instead of going out. Smoked it at 225 for around 2 hours on mini mam aka Bandit until internal temp around 120sh. Then moved it over to Large aka Smokey and seared for about 2 minutes per side. Turned out excellent!

1 Large BGE & 1 Mini-Max BGE (Smokey & the Bandit) + 1 custom Challenger cart for their home. Kick Ash Basket & Igrill2, and cast iron inside for finishing reverse sears.

Nailed it! That beef looks absolutely fantastic
As previously stated, perfect pairing of the wine as well. We met the owner of that vineyard on our honeymoon. When we happened to order a bottle, the sommelier said the owner was on our cruise, and asked if we wanted to meet him. We said sure!! He came over and chatted with us for about 20 mins. Really a nice guy. Here we found out he grew up about 1.5 miles from where I grew up. Small world. I just wonder what decisions he made that I did not for him to be where he is compared to where I am.
