I got the wife a keurig and a card. Usually dont buy anything, she didnt get me a gift.

Although she hasnt said much about me drinking heavily today. Probably my gift right there.

I always do Roses and generally cook. This year I picked up the food for supper & Roses/Tulips on Friday afternoon only to get what I think was food poisoning on Friday night. She got her roses but no food, prolly cook everything next weekend.

We spent time together all day. Took our 10 month old to play at the park for her first time. Went and got ice cream. Later we will rent a movie on demand. No gifts, no cards. She didn't want a fancy meal because she wanted my time instead of me focusing on dinner. It's been a good day.

No cards this year. We love each other desperately and know it. Instead, we grilled filet mignon, with baked potatoes and a salad. Boy, it was cold outside, but worth the effort. Dinner was delicious.

Feb 14th is mom's birthday. I almost always see her on her birthday and spend the day with her. If I have a girlfriend at the time, she can be taken to dinner on another night.
