That looks awesome @Chubbs Thanks for posting. I'm going to think about this seriously for my outdoor kitchen. Did it work smoothly? I mean was it a pretty straightforward process? It appears so from the pictures. I guess I'm wondering if there were any mid-project panics from unforeseen circumstances.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Nope just have a few guys to help mixing the concrete and have a few drills going. If you use the system I bought -highly suggest- just know that the screeding a countertop is way harder than an island. An outdoor kitchen if would probably be pretty easy especially if there are counters not butt up against walls. Pretty easy system and I researched for a few years

So is that poured as one giant monolithic slab?  It looks amazing!  Might have to bite the bullet and do something like this to dress up my kitchen.

Question.... I assume that it wouldn't have much of an issue with heat, correct???

@Chubbs - your work looks fantastic! We just finished a (contractor done) kitchen remodel a few months ago. SWMBO would never be happy with the finish grade that I'm capable of...

Congrats on a great looking project.
