Man I only worked with the four and six factor formulas to address reactor behavior. 6th order is like some black belt or sigma thing isn't it??? Kidding aside, great graph but if you ever compile just a straight data file you may want to annotate ambient outside temp on your graph just to remove any doubt.
Again, most eggcellent work to collect and present the information in visual form. Your cool-down rate is about what I have experienced, albeit usually thru the fog of adult supervisory beverages. You can just do what some of my Engineers or Operators do when doing a calibration curve...just keep increasing the degree polynomial. Magically a 6th degree polynomial always has a high R2 fit. SMH.nolaegghead said:

@lousubcap ... nothing magical about a 6th order polynomial ... Excel does it easy peasy. Data needing a higher order is where the expensive software comes into play.
