15 Hour Butt
First pork butt, started at 8pm at 250* had a couple mishaps along the way with temperature control. Around 2am, temperature dropped below 200*. 8lb butt ended up taking 15 hours, to get to 200* internal temp. came out great. Kept it simple with yellow mustard and Lawrys Season Salt.

but honestly, with pork butt, I think you will hear from the guys on this forum that you don't need to cook them that long. Just crank up the temp to 325 and let it roll. -
Nice butt! Pork shoulders are quite forgiving as @slovelad implies. Higher temps equate to shorter cooks with great results, like yours!Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

As above, many ways to get a great result. Give "turbo butts, big green egg" a google search sometime. Regardless, way to stay on it and great result.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
