Non RTIC cooler

Ok so this is not an RTIC cooler bashing thread. I only wish I had ordered one back in August. But that's another story. 

Today I stopped at Home Depot to see if they had any brinkman deals and there were none. So I figured I would just cruise around the store. Then I saw coolers and had a quick flash that I should have ordered the dam cooler last summer. As I was looking over the choices I saw a fancy little sign that said "new lower price". As I looked closer it was a 150qt Rubbermaid marine cooler that was marked down from $99 to $49. Also they had the 102qt marked down from $79 to 39. I was torn as I still plan to order an RTIC at some point BUT this was a deal. So I grabbed the 150qt and figured worst case we could use it at the firehouse for chicken or beef. 

So if anyone needs a LARGE cooler go to Home Depot and check it out. On a side note it still shows the regular price on their website.

hard to pass up....even for me and I'm mocked by SWMBO for having so many coolers.

The 150qt does not show as on sale on the website like the 102qt. But it did ring up at $49. With sales tax out the door for $51.94. It's like a sore peter----hard to beat.

That seem like a great deal.  I can't see why I would need a 150 but at $49 why not

I dont need one- I have a Yeti 65, a Igloo similar size on wheels and a Rubbermaid similar (For FTC).  However I told my Chef Caterer Neighbor and he is loading up both the 102 and 150 right now as he cant decide.

Wow, that really is a great deal!! I'm going to go look for sure. I need a huge cooler nad 150qt would fit the bill! Especially at that price. Thanks for the heads up!

Good thing for me was I only have a Honda Accord and I could only fit one 150qt in the car. I'm sure if I had a truck I would have left with all 3 that they had.

@oldgeezeystax I see you have an O's pic so I would guess you are in Maryland. I made this purchase at the HD I Bowie. You can see to 102qt for $39 on their website. The 150qt shows regular price on the site. There were two more in Bowie when I left yesterday.

@oldgeezeystax my neighbor bougtht 2 102s and a 150, waked out for $130

@xfire_ATX   Glad to hear that someone else got the same deal as me. I may have to stop on they way home Tuesday and see if there are any more of these.

Swing and a miss. The HD in Frederick didn't have anything larger than a 75. O well.

So I made another trip to HD this morning and the first store only had the 102qt on sale. So I went to the store I picked up the 150 at the other day and they still had one. So now I got 2 for the price of one. On a side note the 150 does not show on sale on the website like the 102. Either call and see if it is or swing by. Either way I am thrilled with picking up another one.
