Well, I cooked my first beer can chicken on my LBGE tonight and I was amazed at the difference in the chicken between the LBGE and a regular charcoal kettle grill. The chicken tonight was to damn tender and juicy I was floored.
I cooked it at 375 indirect.

Cooked to 180 internal at the thigh and it was done so quick I moved the probe to the breast and it was 165, so I pulled it.LBGE & Masterbuilt 30" Stainless Electric Digital Smokehouse w/Cold Smoker

Looks damn good. That chicken looks like a Kardashian.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Nice looking bird!
Did you have a drip pan below? I see platesetter through the slots. Some don't mind, but just to help keep things clean, I usually have a drip pan sitting on the plate setter with a cheap cooling rack in between to prevent anything that drips from scorching & smoking.LBGE | CyberQ | Adjustable Rig | SmokeWare Cap | Kick Ash Basket | Table Build | Tampa, FL -
