Cast Iron Desserts?

Anyone have some good cast iron (skillet or DO) cobbler (apple/cherry), or apple crisp recipes? Found some threads but were more pic and less recipe. Have not cooked any desserts on my KJ but planning one soon and these are first one that came to mind.

Camp crisp:
2 cans of pie filling (your choice)
1 cake mix box of white cake
1 stick of butter
Instructions..
In a large cast iron Dutch oven, place the cans of pie filling, cover with the cake mix. Do not mix. Cut up the butter into small pieces, as small as you can stand, and place them on top. I've even used squeeze butter.
Place a set of coals separate from the large campfire you already have going, and the do on top of them. Put coals on top of the do also. Wait twenty minutes, or until the cake is browned.
Take it of heat, wait ten minutes or you will loose a layer of skin.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Pineapple upside down cake is always great. Any recipe, just treat the egg like an oven. I did DO Peach Cobbler last night. http://eggheadforum.com/discussion/1160874/the-ultimate-peach-cobbler/p1
Since peaches are not in season I ended up using 3 cans of peaches that I rinsed off. It turned out great. Ice Cream is a must to have with it.Medium BGE , iGrill2

Not a cobbler recipe, but I do a skillet smores in the summer and it's a hit!
Toast some chopped pecans in butter till golden brown - remove from heat, and add a bag (or 2) of chocolate chips, and top with marshmallows.
Put back on indirect till the marshmallows toast and brown up, then remove, set on a table, and serve alongside graham cracker sticks...
Perfect summer night dessert!XL Big Green Egg
