Wegman's too. I just bought a couple butts when I was visiting Mom. Just looked and they're still 99¢. Sure wish I had a Wegman's here. And H.E.B.!

It's sausage making season, hence the pork sale everywhere!  CAD 1.28 = USD 0.90 a lb here in GWN, picked up four whole shoulders 
I paid less with 10% loyalty discount.

@ElkhornHusker Hyvee had them for .99 per pound last week but they were boneless. At least in the capital city.

Kroger Richmond was $1.69 last night.  Food Lion is $1.29 though which is 10 cents cheaper than RD.

Picked up four of them at Kroger today and about to crank up the XL & do 'em all.  NFL playoffs, pulled pork sammies and beer.  It don't get much better!  Thanks for the heads up on the cheap butts!

hard to read but looks like it's a 3% water, salt and sodium phosphate injection.   I've seen Kroger stuff as high as 12% injection.

Went to Kroger yesterday ... not a butt in the case.  Hmmm, must have been a great sale.  Asked the butcher if she had any hidden in the back.  Not for $0.99 she responded ... then came this question; "Where did you get the idea that they were on sale for $0.99?"  Ended up buying salmon.

No dice in Nashville. $1.69 a lb. Still picked up a 10 lber. The pork loins and whole chickens were dirt cheap though. 2 pork loins, 1 whole chicken, 1 butt, and 8 smoked sausages (my fogs love them, I throw them on when I grill to keep them at bay) all for $48. I'm calling it a win.

The four I picked up at Kroger were the last ones in the case.  All were reasonably floppy so I was happy.

I picked up two on Thursday. I went back Friday and they were sold out. Also sold out at every Kroger around too. Got a rain check to buy three more.
