OT: secure packaging question: OT

RRP

I'm shipping a fire box that is already in 2 pieces, but good anyway. While I THINK I have it packed quite well to prevent breakage I got to thinking about how I might REALLY make it secure. Surely others here have received packages where the items have been covered with a plastic wrap (black plastic I think) and then some of that common expanding foam has been shot in to fill the voids. Then due to the plastic protecting the contents the package will become one solid piece within the hard cardboard box. Hopefully the USPO gorillas won't be able to further break the contents. My question then is will just a common black plastic trash bag work to protect the contents or will that expanding foam eat thru the black bag? OR should I just finish filling the box with those %&@$* foam peanuts? BTW this is not a sale - just a favor for a fellow egger.
