    @DMW  Forgot to post pics of platesetter with the  AR set up, here you go. I use the spider as spacer between drip pan and platesetter. Apologize pic is from iPhone.

    I use an AR with a spider for my indirect cooks (I used to balance the AR on my Woo, but I decided to just buy a spider).  I have a couple stones and a drip pan.

      I prefer this setup to the platesetter. One reason is that like having access to the lump to add wood.

    I like the platesetter because it gives more deflection than my 13" stone that came with the AR. When I cook ribs or brisket I need that extra coverage
