    Back in South Africa the local indigenous people call the feet and head "Walk-ie-talk-ie" and is considered a delicacy..
    Interesting, learn something new everyday!

    Cool cook, and great discussion.  Never seen chicken feet cooked before, but I do like tacos made from the head meat.
    Never heard of chicken head meat tacos, I wonder if they include meat from the neck because there's hardly any meat on the head!

    And when you roast them for stock they are incredibly good right off the pan. I guess I tend to roast stock meat darker than I would if I was cooking a meal. Kind of like the skin on good wings.

    I'm not sure.  I used to get them from a taco truck in Tucson.  Pollo Cachet (sp?).

    May have been neck too.  A bit greasy, but good.

    Happily Egging since 1996, still egging on my original large BGE, along with 6 other Big Green Eggs of assorted sizes.

    That looks AWESOME!  I raise chickens not to eat though, so not sure that would be accepted at my place....

    I'll stick with Vienna Sausages fer all my pieces parts of critters!!!!  hahaha
