Mat to protect deck

Just ordered a table for my XL, so the egg will be coming up from the patio to the trek deck.
From searching, lots of people are running pretty expensive fireproof mats to protect the deck from damage (while not catching on fire themselves).
What are guys using? Any recommendations?
Thanks!!

I have a large that cooks in the driveway, no mat. I have an XL on the back deck of my lake house. This is what sits under it when I'm cooking.

I have a BGE branded mat.

I don't have a mat under my large challenger table on my deck. I don't leave my fire unattended, and Im not a messy cook.

I have a round one that I roll my medium up on since it's in a nest. Otherwise I don't use any in front of my table mounted L & S. One bit of warning those mats if left down will discolor a wooden deck beyond repair.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

When we had a wood deck I had bought this at either Lowes or HD and used it with my gasser.

Same brand as mine except mine is round. It hangs in my garage when not in use.Davec433 said:When we had a wood deck I had bought this at either Lowes or HD and used it with my gasser.
