Can anyone assist me with table dimensions for LBGE and Green Egg cover?

I'm about to commit to my table dimensions for my LBGE and already purchased the Green Egg cover. The cover is 60W x 25D. I made a mock up of the top size and then realized that the egg can only stick up about 18 inches (guess) above the top or the cover will sit too high.
The PDF sheet Green Egg customer service sent me is a bit unclear on the distance from the lower shelf to the table top. Is it 15 inches from the shelf to top including 2 inches for the table nest or 15 inches from the bottom of the egg to the table top. In which case I would add 2 inches for the nest for a total of 17. Being out 2 inches will most likely result in the cover not fitting correctly.
Also I'm a bit worried about the depth of 25 inches. If the table is 25" and the hole is 21", that does not leave allot of room for overhang and supports. If I have 1/2 inch overhang and 1" supports, that only leaves 1/2 inch space from the hole edge and side supports. Seems a bit tight to me. If I didn't have the cover already, it would not be an issue. Has anyone made a table for the LBGE to fit the green egg cover? If so can you sent me your measurements and a picture of the table with and without the cover on. That would be great. Thx
Cheers

My Shelf is 17 inches from the table top. But I ise the smokeware table nest. Which sits up 2.5 inches. Hope this helps!

Thx
I suspected that I would have to added whatever thickness I put under the egg to the stated 15 inches. Just nice to have conformation.
With your egg so close to the edge of the table, how much space is there from your side supports to the egg itself.
I will be using large pieces of corian for the top and bottom shelves and all of the cuts will be inside the edges so need to by sure.
Thx again -
@Putterrr not sure what your asking?

My cover doesn't fit my table. You need to be careful or you'll end up like this:
I'm still looking for a cover that fits. -
