Tri Tip DFW

My local Costco stopped carrying it.  Does anyone know where to get Tri-Tip in DFW?

Trader Joes usually carries it, but I think it might all be pre-marinated.  It is not bad but I'm not that crazy about the marinade.  Last time my wife brought one hope I rinsed it off, dried, applied my own rub and it was pretty good.

Central Market carries it in Plano.  So does Hirsch's Butcher Shop in Plano...      

Which Costco was carrying TRI TIP and was it Prime Grade? (fingers crossed)

The Costco on the Tollway at Parker has it on occasion but it's not a regular occurrence over there and I've only seen Choice.    

Except one time, I got some Waygu Tritips from Hirsch's this summer for 10.99/LB, I bought 3...I should have bought all of them...*sigh*

Funny, in the south you guys get all the killer prices on everything BGE. but can't get tri tip.

Here in SoCal, we get reemed on everything BGE ... but got plently if tri tip ... wanna trade.

Speaking of Hirsch's ... Tri Tip on sale 5.99/lb this week Choice grade, but I'll eat it.....although, I'm becoming a meat snob.

Even choice tri-tip is good if done correctly. I will usually marinade and reverse sear choice tri-tips. Prime cuts just get salt and pepper and straight on the grill.

Another vote for Hirsch's...Great store and very nice people.
The manager Jerry Benton always threw some free stuff our way for the Plano Eggfests.

Whole Foods carries tri-tip in New Orleans. Perhaps they do in DFW as well. 

Our local Costco dropped it because they couldn't sell it. :(
