Hey y'all, been lurking for a few weeks doing my due diligence and enjoying all the different cooks before I jumped in. Also know we're all trying to free Nola, so I don't want to take away from that, but I finally pulled the trigger and got the large! Excited to be a part of the community and will be doing my first cook, Carwash Mike's Ribs, this Sunday. Will make sure to post some pics!

Now that I have read it I have read it before and have them this way except for the spritzing. This is a good one and I don't think there is a bad way to cook ribs unless you boiling them first. That's just not right. Good luck and enjoy. If you want fall of the bones and don't want to lose moisture, you can put them in foil with apple cider, brown sugar, butter and honey for an hour after about 2 to 3 hours for an hour. This is how my wife like me to do them. This is a 2-1 or 3-1. I like the 2-1-1 or 3-1-1. The last hour take them out of the foil and let them firm up and sauce them a little about the last 30 minutes. I wish is was doing ribs this weekend. I love ribs.CodyA88 said:Thanks for all the warm welcomes, guys.
