Have been wanting to make this for some time. Used left over turkey from Thanksgiving. Crust didn't come out like we hoped, but sure tested good. Will do again.

Looks good to me. Sure wish I had enough left over to make one of these.

A big fan of the pot pie my self. To me, the cream sauce is what makes the dish. Yours looks outstanding. How did you make the sauce?Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

Not sure. Wife made the dish, I just cooked it. I do know she used milk and added a can of cream of mushroom soup to it.

I'd crush that pot pie.
Next to the stuffing, making pot pies with left over turkey is one of the best thing about thanksgiving. We mix turkey lightly smoked on the egg with turkey made in the oven for our potpies. Comes out great.

@chick533 that looks awesome and I just did one last week myself and I too will be doing it again. Your photos look better then mine and good enough to eat. Nicely done.

Nice job. What size egg and what size CI? Wondered how big I could fit with the lid down on my large.
Edit: I see you modified. Guess that's what I'll do as well. -
That looks gooooooooood.

Is that a regular CI skillet with the handle cut off? I have been looking to add some CI items to my inventory of cookware but didn't know what to do about a large skillet.Medium BGE , iGrill2

Thanks for the great comments. The BGE is a medium. The CI skillet is a lodge is 12" with the handle slightly modified. This combination is my go to for just the two of us.
