    I will add I placed foil across the top because the last time some soot from the dome I notice started to drip and dis colored some of the cheese. It's hard to keep the stuff clean I still have a finger print or 2 of dark from touching the grid etc.... And touching the cheese.

    yup it's that time of year ... no hose no AMZ smoker, just rusty bean can and solder-contaminated iron  :s  plan to try the hose setup some day, looks like it'll be cooler and more 'elbow room' in the larger egg with cheese.

    Just finished up a batch of cheese. After vac sealing it I'm ready to buy a chamber sealer I think. I became angry several times.

    Large, Medium, Mini, and Mini Max, a few too many accessories, 2 kids, 1 dog, and original wife.  Lover of winter, powdery snow, and lots of golf.

    Thx @Powderhound !  It is homemade out of some driftwood I found up in the SC mountains of Lake Jocassee.  Also made my wife a picture frame out of the same material.  Made it for my Mini BGE.  It may look like the mini max, but that's because I got the new carrier for the mini that BGE just started carrying.  Here are more pix of the handle.  Easy and cheap mod:
