i did my first turkey on the egg this past Thanksgiving.  i just wanted to say thanks for all of the threads & info.  i had family and friends over, so there was a little pressure on me to get it right.  i went with indirect spatchcock at 350.  i dry brined it with some Raging River for about 18 hours.  the turkey was 11 pounds.  the cook time was about 1:40.   it turned out to be the best damn turkey i've ever had.  even my friends & family were blown away.  i've never had turkey as juicy & flavorful.  normally, i drown it in gravy.  thanks for all of the tips!  i looked like a BGE Badass!
