OT - Did Anybody Else Dang Near Cry When Bart Starr Hugged Bret Favre?
Long time Packers fan and this was beautiful. An end to an era. Both of them legends. I will admit to turkey overload, but I found it touching. Go Packers!

Great moment, really ticked off at the network for cutting away for some commercials. This was really history and they had to make sure they got that car commercial in. Wish they were a little classier.

There have been a couple of articles about Bart Starr attending the game in the Birmingham paper recently. He has been having lots of health issues, and his kids have been using the event as motivation to make him work harder in therapy as Bart really wants to be there to honor Brett.

I like football a lot and like many teams. Obviously a Panthers and Falcons fan, but also a Broncos and Steelers fan to name a few. Now, when it comes to college football, I am a bit more selective, lol. Go Clemson Tigers. This household loves football. Not so much basketball or baseball. Blasphemy, I know.

In all fairness, hubby is a Clemson grad and the Tigers have finally earned my respect, although history tells me that will be short-lived, lol. My brother is a USC grad, but not a big football fan, so it all works out. I pull for the Gamecocks as long as they're not playing Clemson if that helps any.

@northGAcock, with this particular game, anything can happen. @DoubleEgger, not confused at all. If there is a football game on of any type, we usually watch it. If I only watched one particular team play I would miss out on a lot of football. It only comes around one season a year.Large BGE

@theyolksonyou, sorry man. I was a football fan before I got married, so I just lucked up marrying someone that was as rabid as I was about the game. In our house, even the cats come to watch the game, but I think it's more about their parental units screaming than the game itself. It's the only time they witness that type of behavior, lol.
