First Snow... Priorities
So, the first snowfall came today... and I had to take care of priorities:

Yep, I would do the same if I left mine outside. We don't get quite the snow here tho.

Sweet, I haven't gotten the covers out from the garage yet. A little odd getting hit this hard, this early. Was fun building snowmen with the boys though.BrandonQuad Cities

Interesting result: One of my eggs is used quite often ... the seal is intact, but so hard the temp probe lines hardly sink in enough to seal. That egg opened up after the storm with no problems at all. My other egg probably only has a couple dozen cooks on it. The seal is still soft and thick enough that it swallows probe wires. That egg froze up so much that it took a 350 degree fire about 45 minutes to get the egg open.

@Jeepster47 Have you met @rrp ? I hear he has some new fangled gasket material...
-
@theyolksonyou ... nicely played. I was given a couple of non-BGE seals to experiment with first. Hate to waste them.

@Jeepster47 I have a feeling I have the same material. I also have a couple pieces of Rutland in the garage.

@theyolksonyou ... ah yes, looks like you also subscribe to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" process.
