chuckies ( pepper stout beef from the wolfe pit )

how long to cook chuck roast to get to 165 deg. what is the best temp. to cook at ? thanks for the help !

    The Wolfe Pit recipe calls for 245-260 degrees. When I cooked mine it took a  couple of hours to get to 165 IT if my memory serves me. Be sure you have a whole day to devote to the cook. I followed the recipe closely and the finished product was amazingly good.
