Cooking time for pork shoulder
Hello Everyone! I am currently on my 11th hour of smoking a pork shoulder in my BGE.I foiled wrapped my butt after the 7th hour. My current temp is 235 degrees and has been the whole time. My shoulder is about 9lbs. What's the longest time it took to get to 190 degrees? Hope everyone had a safe Halloween! Preview before the cook....

What's the internal temp? I am thinking at 9 lbs another couple of hours minimum to 190. I usually pull mine at 195 ishIn the middle of Georgia! Geaux Tigers!!!!!

Internal temp on digital wired says 108 degrees as we speak. It seems way wrong for the amount of time it's been in...

Or you can just pull the bone out if it has one. (when it comes out with no resistance you are done). If it has no bone just stick a fork to the middle and twist it. Again, no resistance it's done.
