Haven't been to a mall in probably 5 years.

Assume you mean the pinkish sauce?Columbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013 -
Not ever made it but here is the white yum yum sauce

My kid would go ballistic if I got ahold of this sauce recipe. He loves Sarku. I'll be following this closely.

+1, but for myself, I love Sarku. My teriyaki chicken never comes out close! Looking forward to additional responses. Also he is not referring to the "yum yum" sauce that is a staple from most hibachi joints, this is a teriyaki marinade, brownish red in color and not thick or pasty like yum yum.SaltySam said:My kid would go ballistic if I got ahold of this sauce recipe. I couldn't even find it on Google.

You can buy this kind at our local Walmart. We love it.

Just my $.02 but mixing the chicken in a stand mixer seems like a completely unnecessary step.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
I'm with @Chubbs when it comes to a mall, so I have never had Sarku, but I did a little digging and found this thread on Chef Talk.

It's a little long, but you may find your answer here. There is a video on page 3 demonstrating the cook on a griddle. Hope it helps.

That looks spot on, guess the stand mixer is to help further tenderize?SmokeyPitt said:I found this:

A lot of work and cleanup afterwards for this recipe. -
After reading the thread @Dredger posted the chef that worked there stressed massaging the meat, so I guess the mixer is to automate that process. Personally I would just do it by hand. Maybe put it in a big zip loc and give the pick up the bag and massage it every so often. This has piqued my interest...especially since I have a griddle. Of course if I do this my kids will insist the rice is fried.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
