I have a Halloween party coming up and will be catering most of the food. I have 3 racks of St. Louis ribs that I would like to add and I have these rubs to work with....Which would you recommend to use?

I'm a huge dizzy dust fan, but I was recently told by the DP people that several competition teams are currently using raging river (which is awesome, but I've never attempted ribs with it)
If it were me, I'd go 2 dizzy dust and try out a raging river.XL & MM BGE, 36" Blackstone - Newport News, VA -
I haven't tried Raging River on ribs yet. Now I have to.johnnyp said:I'm a huge dizzy dust fan, but I was recently told by the DP people that several competition teams are currently using raging river (which is awesome, but I've never attempted ribs with it)

Yea, I didn't realize just how versatile raging river was until recently. I went to DP's headquarters for a class a couple weekends ago and Chris was raving about it....granted, it's his rub. Lol. But this one in particular was his favoriteI haven't tried Raging River on ribs yet. Now I have to.XL & MM BGE, 36" Blackstone - Newport News, VA -

Why not do 3 individual racks and ask the guests? Can't go wrong really with any of them (I wouldn't try the cow lick but that is me)In the middle of Georgia! Geaux Tigers!!!!!

Go heavy on the honey hog

I use the honey hog hot and the regular honey hog. Coated with Blues Hog Smoky mountain BBQ sauce. Perfect combo for my likes.Steve

Why not chop the racks in half.... Then you can use 6 different rubs! Taste test to your liking!

Honey Hog on top or convex side, light dusting Honey Hot on bottom or concave side. So damn tasty
Good Luck! -
Interesting. I have had a hard time finding a use for it.johnnyp said:
